About me

Hi, my name is John Urquidi, I am a fine artist based in Santa Barbara, California and Green Valley, Arizona. On this site I am displaying a collection of previous works. Most of the work I create is in natural themes with the use of traditional and digital media.

I grew up in the Santa Monica mountains near what is now called Pt. Mugu State Park. It was an experience which endeared me to the great outdoors. I’ve had lots of opportunity to observe the Santa Barbara foothills and shorelines, and more recently the deserts and sky islands of Southern Arizona.
